2005 Ford Ranger

The 2005 Ford Ranger is the latest installment in the legendary Ranger pick-up truck lineup that has gained popularity amongst millions of drivers over a 40+ year reign as one of America’s most known and trusted pick-up trucks.

The 2005 Ford Ranger base-model engine is a 2.3L Duratec Inline-4 producing 143HP and 154FTLB of torque. The next level engine is a 3.0L V-6 with 155HP. The highest level engine is the powerful 4.0L V-6 that makes 207HP and 238FTLB of torque.

The Ford Ranger comes in either a rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive platform mated to the choice of a 5-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission.
